In the year that we just met, he gave me this ‘’good luck bead” on my birthday. After 6 months, he went into the army and I have braided this bead with red thread to wear it as a ring everyday. I can look at it every time I miss him. He will be back in 2 years. I hope we could can be happy together after he returns. Since, I was brought up in a single-parent family, his mother was not pleased with us being together. But, I still believe that we can go through this together and grow stronger, just like how my father and mother used to love each other.
